5 Secret Tips To Boost Your Magic Performance

As a professional performer and magician, I often get asked by people what are the most important things to remember when performing magic.
Inside today's post, I would like to reveal 5 Secret Performing Tips that all the pro's know about but don't always want to share.

Here they are:

Tip 1. Where You Should Be Performing

The great thing about the tricks I show you at
www.themagicofsolomon.com/magiclessons is that you can perform them anywhere. It doesn't need to be at the office or at dinner. On this website, I normally suggest places where the trick would be most appropriate. For example David Blaine really made street magic popular again so feel free to perform anywhere. I have performed magic to people on planes, boats, zoos and even bathrooms! Crazy hey?

Tip 2. What Kind Of Props Not To Use

If you ever happen to use props that are not considered "every day kinda stuff", people could think it's a 'magic prop' and will mostly assume that its fake and that is has mirrors or trap doors. If you simply use ordinary, everyday objects people will relate to your magic a lot better and will lower the chance that they might be expecting some kind of "funny business" with your special magical props.

Tip 3. How To Deal With Nerves While Performing Your Magic Tricks

Everyone gets nervous! I still get nervous even though I've been performing professionally now for years! The secret is to be confident with yourself and your magic so that your audience does not notice your "nervousness" at all.
But how do you get confident as a performer? Simply put, practice your little heart out! The more you practice, the more confident you will feel in your own ability, and therefore your own performance. If you are well practiced, your sub-conscious mind will take care of the rest when you get in front of an audience.

Tip 4. And The Secret Is... (drum roll please)

Most of the tricks I teach
www.themagicofsolomon.com/magiclessons use the element of surprise. When your audience doesn't know what is going to happen, your magic will have more of a WOW factor because they were not expecting it. Think about it. No-one says they are going to produce an elephant - they just do it!

Tip 5. What Distinguishes The Pro's From The Amateurs

Instead of learning a dozen tricks and performing them badly, learn 3 good tricks and really spend your time figuring out the presentation and story with each trick. Remember, one good trick is WAY better than 10 okay ones.
That is what all the pros do and you can just copy them to get exactly the same effect! That's it for now!

Let me know if you like these kind of posts with tips in it like this. If a lot of people tell me that they like it, I will create more of these tips for you.

Yours Magically
