The word Abracadabra comes from the Hebrew expression ‘I create as I speak.'
A variation of these words exist throughout the Jewish scriptures. According to scripture, whenever God is about to create something, He will announce the creation beforehand. It's not wise to tell people what you are about to do when performing a magic trick though- it spoils the surprise!
